The Silverblade

Contributed by dark_descent on Monday, 2nd May 2005 @ 04:09:16 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Your razor edge is so enticing, so inviting
Your beauty shines, blinding me
I see my reflection in you, distorted
As if I'm looking through to the other side
So thin, so frail. I could probably snap you if I wanted
I long to feel you in me
To slide your cold hard metal into my burning flesh
It burns only for you
My silverblade
My blood runs only for you
My silverblade
Now crimson from the wound where you stabbed me in the heart
My blood wipes so easily from you
And you go on being cold and beautiful
As I lie here
Descending into darkness
