Fortune in a Minute

Topic: LovePoetry

Just looking at you I feel so lucky
Far better than winning the lottery
Every moment with you is time well spent
I’d give any jackpot up to the last cent
Just to buy a minute of your presence
And gaze at your beauty’s truest essence

Just being with you I feel so lucky
Time stops and I meet with eternity
Emotions pour out, nothing left to hide
All in a minute with you by my side
And just like that, the minute is over
But for me, the minute lasts forever

Just hearing your voice, I feel so lucky
More sweet than any song could ever be
More lovely than the sweetest serenade
By far the sweetest voice God has ever made
Never thought such voice could be so mellow
I’m sent to heaven with just one “Hello”

Just to see you smile, I feel so lucky
Without your smile, my world would be empty
With just the simple way that your mouth curves
You send ecstasy deep within my nerves
And my heart would skip every other beat
After the smile is gone, I feel complete

So ask me again, “Why am I so lucky?”
Simply because, “You’re here with me.”
