Fell Into Masochism

What i once did out of rage,
I now do out of pleasure
Did it when i thought i was stuck in a cage,
And now even when i can act of my own leisure.
Cold steel draws a line on my chest,
Like a red ink pen.
Gives me a feeling that most seem to destest,
But it's a feeling i want to feel again.
The sting of the blade,
Breathes life into my soul.
It's something everyone forbade,
But now i believe it makes me whole.
The few that know,
Ask when it will end,
Ask how far it will go,
Ask where it began.
On the cold floor i lie,
Staring at the water marks on the ceiling.
I'm not bleeding myself dry,
Just enjoying this feeling.
When the body is dead,
There's no physical pain,
So please do not dread,
Suicide is not my way.
