I love you
Don’t you see?
I need you
Don’t leave me
I can’t say it to you
But I know you’re right
Please don’t give up
When I put up a fight
I get so mad
Yet I still stay
I need you here
Please don’t walk away
I’m screaming at you
To stay with me
Don’t leave me with this
Can you set me free?
You tell me go to bed
You say you need to sleep
I tell you just to leave
But I sit here and weep
I wanted you to stay
No matter what I said
Now I feel so bad,
Because you went to bed
I want you to hold me
And stay up with me all night
Could you stay with me a little longer?
Would that be alright?
Because I need you tonight

Very well done. I like the message that strikes me with your poem.... say what you mean and mean what you say. In the first part of the poem your are behaving one way, but wanting something different;; but by the end you are being very direct with what you want
