Saved From the Tears
Back when my parents were fighting
They would argue loudly and eventually divorced
I was young and
I didn’t know what to do who to go to how to act
I was in a dark
hole
Emotions running
Anger built up inside
Tears falling from my
Eyes
I was lost
Nowhere to go nothing to do
When my friend invited me to a
Bible club at school
I went but I didn’t know much about it
Sadness was healed through it
Love was formed from it
I was saved
Saved from the tears
And the anger
And I was saved
From myself
