Can't Hold On

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I just can’t hold on no more
I’m losing my grip
I am beginning to slip

No one is there to help me
So, I just can’t hold on any longer
I’m having a hard time fighting all this crap
So, I just can’t hold on no more

It just doesn’t work
I can’t hold on any longer
It just doesn’t work
I say, it just doesn’t work

The ledge is moving away
There is nothing to grab onto
Nothing to hold onto
I just can’t hold on no more

It’s getting harder to live in this life
It’s getting harder to control
It’s getting harder to find something to hold onto
It’s getting harder to hold on
It’s getting easier to let go
Easier to not hold on anymore

I just can’t hold on no more
I’m losing my grip
I am beginning to slip

It just doesn’t work
I can’t hold on any longer
It just doesn’t work
I say, it just doesn’t work

I just can’t hold on no more
I’m losing my grip
I am beginning to slip

I just can’t hold on no more
