Calmness

Calmness.
Swaying grass,
A thousand words
Left unsaid
Breathing softly
No footsteps on the ground

Feet in the water
Watching the river flow
The smell of quiet
Doubles as the night moves on

Starry skies all alone
Beating heart carries a rhythm of its own
Here come the clouds
And the pouring rain
Watching the puddles grow
Dripping of pain

Releasing the feelings
In the calm dew
No one to hear me
No one who knew

Softly singing to the beating
A tune of my own
It sounds insane
But its true
Clouds pass by
Starry nights again

Lying looking up
Making a wish on every star
The silent night
Brings calm.

Lovely. It reminds me of the smell of grass or prehaps snow.
It's calming in itself- in its effect on people!
