It’s time to go
This I know

It’s time for God to take my hand
And lead me away from this land

It’s time to say good-bye and hug all those who were my friends
Too bad they couldn’t have helped me reach farther ends

It’s time to go
This I know

It’s time to give up; yes it’s time to give up
This isn’t just a bump in my life; no this isn’t just a bump

It’s time to stop fighting
Time to stop trying

It’s time to go
This I know

this was a good poem, but i was searching for more to make this stand out from other poems. every poem is a life in its own right. every life is different in some way, and this just seems like the typical life that i read everyday. that is why i stress endings. an ending can make a piece such a unique life that i have to read the entire poem just to get to know it again....
