More than the memory,
More than the lost,
More than the dying,
More than the cost,

More than the children,
Who lay down to sleep,
More than the demons,
Who underneath creep,

More than the murdered,
And more than the raped,
More than the statues,
So meticulously shaped,

More than the accused,
More than the hated,
More than the innocent,
More than the faded,

Forever and ever,
I'll sing this song,
Until the days of my childhood,
Are long away gone...
