Perfect Stranger

Contributed by jessa_23 on Friday, 27th December 2002 @ 02:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

most people
spend their entire lives
looking for that "special someone"
carelessly building themselves up
for one who does not exist
only in their own minds
longing for this someone
they pass up life
and forget to live
an illusion to themselves
they reflect to others
the image they want them to see
making themselves be
something that they are not
fooling people
wounding those around them
neglecting to realize
what they have done
lacking in conduct
misjudging their actions
as matters that are subdued profitable
they overlook
the inner beauty of humanity
and focus on this fabrication
of an astounding fantasy

I think that is one of the biggest pains in life that people actually pull upon someone else that loves them and cares for them, it's such a shame when people pretend to be somthing they aren't....it's like they live in some fantasy world or somthing, what ever happened to being real???? What's so wrong with just being yourself and showing the world who you really are??? What's the point in lying to people to make them see you as somthing your not??? That angers me when people do that....thanks for sharing this one jess i hope if anyone out there does this that they read this and feels bad for what they do.......
