If I were an angel
I'd gather the stars in Heaven
Sprinkle them around you
To light up your world
And grant your every wish
If I were an angel
I'd capture moonbeams
Like heavenly kisses in the air
And blow them toward the west
Until a soft caress alights upon your skin
If I were an angel
I'd fly to your side every night
Watch you while you sleep
To soothe your dreams
And kiss away the darkness
If I were an angel
I'd steal through your window
Like moonlight across your floor
As gentle as the night wind
To sleep in your strong arms
If I were an angel
I'd watch over you, keep you safe
Capture your every breath
Until the day your night falls silent
Then breathe into you Eternity with me
If I were an angel...
