On Broken Wings

Contributed by ForeverAlone on Saturday, 30th April 2005 @ 07:50:23 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Pummeling swiftly torwards the ground
Within this darkened cloud
That fatefully surrounds
Is
My life, unseen and deep seated in misery
With everything that ment anything to me
Burnt to ashes in agony
Now
On broken wings I fall
Marred of the dark sky so tall
With only the earth as the end
Of it all
. . .
A fallen angel, with beautiful black wings
A serenade... she sings
As she flies torwards me
. . .
Catching my tumbleing life
Before I meet my demise
How she found me in the middle of the night
Still I wonder in the back of my mind
. . .
My angel
that flew to save me
. . .
On Broken Wings

you are coming out of the slump. some of your formatting in the beginning leaves one to wonder why you did it that way. broken wings, very nice.

Fabulous, Clark! I love writes like this... where emotion sits not-so-quietly beneath and behind rich imagery. This, I'm certain... will tug at many a read... even - if they don't know why.

Well done! *applauds*
