This teenage girl,
Covers up her pain,
Nothing in her life,
Nothing to her name.
She doesn't have family,
She doesn't have love,
Her life is no pretty picture,
No heaven above.
No mother to tell her I love you,
No father to say you're growing so fast.
No matter what happens,
Happiness will not last.
When she gets an ounce of pride,
It all gets washed away,
From an insult,
Or a very bad day.
No color in her eyes,
Nothing in her way,
But she can't move,
There she stays.
Always covered by a shadow,
While the world goes round.
She doesn't go anywhere,
She's stuck to the ground,
She crawls into bed,
And wonders what will end her life,
Then she knows,
It's a razor sharp knife.
She cuts the lines,
No pain in her..none at all,
Because you cannot stand,
If you always fall
