Over the rugged mountains
The rivers currents flow
Magnolia trees sway tranquilly
As the sun radiantly glows
The wind blows softly
Through out the shrubs and trees
Birds take to the sky
Soaring beautifully and free
I dance amongst the evergreens
Spinning around the fields I go
Chasing coloured butterflies
Frolicking into the unknown
I constantly come here
So I can dream of you
As I lay amidst the magnolias
Loving thoughts of you flow through
The afternoon sun shadows
Over the rugged peaks
As I lay day dreaming
It's your heart that my love seeks...

| Another wonderful poem as always with so much love and emotion in it. Great write Sue and it was well written to be well read. I really like the last two lines and a strong ending like this really makes the write so awesome. I’m glad I have you as a friend I can go to online when I need to talk. A poem well thought out, one organized, and rehearsed carefully, putting much care in every line. It's so obvious to your readers that you take the time to do it so well. Your loving heart shines through in all you do. You are blessed Sue, I hope you always use to love other and make them happy. For those that bring sunshine into the lifes of others cannot keep it from themselves.
Very enjoyable........I think I know to whom you write............he's a little doll........I've known a long time.......can't go wrong with him.!

A beautiful piece. I have always liked it when nature is used in romantic poetry, and this is a splendid example of it. Well done.
