So listen very closely
If it would that you may
And lend me if you will
to all that comes what may
To a fated past
of a long forgotten day
of words well worth repeating
just to hear what they might say
Of dreams once spun in yesteryear
that shine of brightest light
of roads that one might travel
as we walk beyond the night
Of tales of old, and both brand new
that lead us ever on
to rise above the darkness
and to face another dawn
to find a road and follow
in search of ones own fate
with hopes that our tomorrow
will not find us late.
