Have you ever
Tasted the rain?
Put the past behind you
Along with the pain
Have you ever
Tried for the sane?
Let the future flow
Inside an empty vein
Have you ever
Felt the inner shame?
Sewed up your own heart
Ever felt the same?

I dream of rain
And I always fall
I dream the same
The same faces
Just different places
For my insanity
Is my humanity
This is my reality
Have you ever loved me at all?

Have you ever
Tasted the tears?
Let the liquid drain
Let free your fears?
If you look hard enough
The answer is clear
Have you ever watched
As sanity disappears?
Have you ever
Been this near?
Have you ever
Opened your ears?

I dream of rain
And I always fall
I dream the same
The same faces
Just different places
For my insanity
Is my humanity
This is my reality
Have you ever loved me at all?

It doesn't suck, silly. It's brilliant. Not what I expected it to be when I first opened it, but still worth my time. It's not hard to relate to, esp the 1st stanza. It's almost like a song. Keep it up - God loves you!
