Im sorry I never told you
Why I have been so down
And I hate to act like a clown.
I let my guard down
Only for one day
It made my troubles go away....
It made me cry to think of
How you might feel when
I break the news to you someday...
Im sorry I let you down
Why I do not know
Ill never to it again...
It means nothing now
Nevertheless to you it will mean the world.
I broke my promise
I told you so many times...
It’s still the same today
I talk to both of you,
But you have no clue
I might as well tell you
Before I go to that unexpected
Bed of broken promises...
