Your a dime a dozen girl
And i know i paid more for you than that
I gave you my heart and my soul
And you turned and ran away
I didnt know the word love could be so scary
Or cause so much pain
I knew id never leave you
I wish you'd of felt the same
The reasons you went away
could easily of been changed
but now your my heart ache
I hope your happy with him
Ill just want you to know
I gave you my life and i can take it back
Your not a dime a dozen girl
you cost more than that
your a death a dozen girl
and with this dagger i pay my deb
Goodbye my love,
one last thing to say
this was money well spent

That was a great poem. I can relate to it also. I've been heartbroken, but then, I've also been a heartbreaker, I feel really bad cuz I know I hurt his feelings, he doesn't seem to understand me, so he won't take me back. I'm sure the emotions in this poem is how my ex felt... thank you for posting. Jenny |
