Hidden Truth

Contributed by GregoryGreen04 on Thursday, 28th April 2005 @ 09:45:13 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

I' m just a simple man
Without any elaborate plan
To go to the places I ought to go
And show the world what they ought to know
But I can fool the best of those who see
The facade I set up, that they may think its me
Under the smiles and the grins on the outside
That I flash to so many, the truth to hide
Of a man who knows nothing
And is dying inside

great poem! not one person in the world has not felt this way at one time or onother, we let people see what they want to see for fear of revealing who we truly are, it's a scary thing but if you realy trust someone that facade can easily be brought down, kinda like the berlin wall, who would of thunk it !!!!!
