Empty Toy Box

Contributed by twisted_dreams on Thursday, 28th April 2005 @ 06:24:18 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The toys are gone
from where he used to play
the bed hasnt been used
since when he used to lay

His belongings are packed
with the memory of him
all that is left is a blanket
and a picture that i dim

his family must forget
and go on as they were
being a family of two
with the third being a blur

he will not come back
he's gone forever
they must get over it
and move on together

His life was too short
he didnt deeserve to die
way to young
to even know how to cry

The angel took him under her wing
and traveled to a magical place
A place where he will meet Jesus
Face to Face....
