A girl hugs the toilet as she purges her sins while another watches crimson waves trickle to the floor. This is all because no one shows they care. A girl is rushed to the emergency room due to an overdoes while another is left in the gutter, broken and alone. This is all because no one shows they care. A boy sits in the corner holding his father's gun while another falls to the floor, a gunshot wound to the heart. This is all because no one shows they care. A child hides in her closet clutching her teddy bear while another runs into the darkness of the night. This is all because no one shows they care. A girl sits in her room venting her anger with blades and fire while another drives her car off of a cliff. This is all because no one shows they care. A girl hides in the corner, away from her boyfriend who leaves bruises while another stabs a man because he looked at her wrong. This is all because no one shows they care. A girl stands on the corner trying to make a quick buck while another begs for her life as a man steals her innocence. This is all because no one shows they care. A girl looks at the world through teared eyes while she sees all of this happen. This is all because no one knows how to show they care.

| not the most poetic, and a somewhat choppy flow, but the content is amazing. I've been the wrong side of that, and it sucks. this really seems to alert people to how much their actions affect others. |

Good thoughts! Life is pure irony and everyone is a coward. I believe this would be more effeective in a classic poem format.
