The Sun and Moon Could Never be Friends.

Lighten the mood,
turn the lights down low,
take my hand,
and please allow me to smile at you.
I will lie and tell you to never let me go.

Silver on silver,
your black and white bedroom floor.
2 o' clock in the morning,
and the carpet feels unusually cold.

I turned around,
and you weren't there,
you were mad at me weren't you?
It's because I broke your blue-rimmed glasses
when you pushed me down your hallway stairs.
-and we were only joking around,
but-you did see me cry,
and refused to care.

I'm sorry I hurt your "fragile" heart,
but oh how you deserved it-
you left me alone in your house
when I was scared,
all by myself, captured in the dark.

And the cold steady rain pured down outside
as i questioned where you left to, and asked myself why.
as the sun came up, and morning drew near,
I awoke to your alarm clock, because you left me here.
I heard the gravel press against the ground
and your car pulled in.
I had to ask...I just had to ask.

How can your whole life fall apart in just one lovely night?
"It's more than possible" yeah, thats what you said.
you told me you left to go clean up your mess
and pick up the pieces that you had left.

You whispered to me that one day the morning will not come for me.

So, the moon shouldn't try to make friends with the sun.

Beautiful work. I hope that if this is a true story you are not still facing this problem. You are a great artist.
Good Luck,
April

I liked this a lot, well chosen words that created exactly the right atmosphere.
Keep up the good work

Steve
