DARKEST BLUE, MUCH LIKE HIM
NOT MUCH WOBBLE, STRAIGHT AND TRUE
DOESN'T SPEAK MUCH, NOT TO YOU
HAS A MEMORY, STRONG AND FAST
NOT TO SIMPLE, FORGET THE PAST
RARELY LONLEY, NEVER LOST
TOO FEW DOLLARS, PAID THE COST
GIVEN OFT' TO WORDS SO SOUR
SELDOM WASTIN' ANY HOUR
YET, IN MEMORY, OFTEN SAID
CROSS HIM UP, HE'LL MAKE YOU DEAD
GIVEN OFT' TO SHALLOW LAUGH
QUICKLY LEAVING IN THE PAST
WE ARE THJE ONES, TO LATE FAST
OFFERS MADE, SIMPLE YET
HE DOES NOT CARE TO SHAVE A BET
BUT WHEN HE'S GONE, THEY'LL REMEMBER
EACH WORD 'TWAS SAID, AS DYING EMBERS
