I Am Your Brave Leader

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Thursday, 28th April 2005 @ 01:47:32 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I’m your brave leader
I built this great wall
You tear down my courage
You pray for my downfall
In times of sorrow
And in times of pain
I can see the blue blood
That pumps through your veins

Say that you loved me
Tell me how you cried
Tell me the old story
Of how you once died
Revived, forgiven, now alive
You searched out the truths
You came to me with questions
I never once refused

Now here you’ve returned
Crawling on your knees
I won’t take you back
I must ask you to leave
I feel like such a fool
A young confused boy
You gazed upon me with contempt
Like I was your little toy

But baby I’ve grown up
I’m a new man
Did you think that I wouldn’t
Was that your sick little plan
So now plead and beg
But it won’t do you no good
You’ve missed your chance
Like I knew, only you could

So Here I sit
All on my own
Writing these flleeting words
Braving this deadly storm
It won’t get no better
The thunder wont pass
You’ve stolen my breathe
And it was my very last
