IT'S GIRLFRIENDS WEEK!
Time passes, and life happens.
Children become grown persons
Love waxes and wanes.
Hearts break, a career no longer reigns
Our parents die, colleagues forget favors
Men don't call sometimes they forget their manners!
BUT..........
Girlfriends are there,
No matter how much time,
or how many miles between you!
A girlfriend is never farther away than needing her can reach too!
When you have to walk that lonesome road,
and you have to walk it for yourself, it becomes quite a load!
Never fear, your girlfriends will be there cheering you on!!!
Praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on
your behalf, all night until dawn.
With open arms waiting at the road's end.
Sometimes, they will be courageous and for you defend!
They'll walk beside you, come carry you along......
Girlfriends know exactly the right words to sing your song!
Daughters, Daughter-in-laws, sisters,
sisters-in-law, mother,
mother-in-law, aunties, nieces, cousins, extended
family, and friends bless
like no other!
The world wouldn't be the same without them, and
neither would I.
When we began this adventure called womanhood,
We were so naive, had no idea where we stood?
The incredible joys or sorrow that lay ahead?
Nor did we know how much we would need a strong stead.
Every day, in this world without love of goodness,
We need our girlfriends even more to help with all this badness.
Pass this on to the women in your life...........
Those beautiful girlfriends that help you with day to day strife.
May God continue blessing them too,
And for having a girlfriend just like you!
