The Eternal Question of Man

Contributed by Tiger018 on Wednesday, 27th April 2005 @ 09:54:34 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Was I a decent person was I?
Did I play my part God's overall plan?
Did I execute well the rules of man?
Have I made good use my space here in time?
Did I really try, did my actions rhyme?
Did I give my best planting fertile seeds?
Have I earned or stolen my wants and needs?
In my spectrum of time was I complete?
Did I pass the grade or bow in defeat?
Was I a decent person was I?

Was my life successful was it?
Can I really say I did my job right?
Only time will tell my place in His sight?
Does good beat fault on that course I did steer?
Was it just guesswork, do facts stand out clear?
Each thought, word and deed did they show my worth?
And how will He grade my stay here on earth?
Now the big question to confirm or deny.
About my life story etched in the sky.
Was I a winner with Him was I?
