Lifepoems

You see the face of your true love,
Before you can taste the sweet nectar of life.
Give charity to your peers,
And they leave you hopeless.
But we will all have that day,
Where the world will stop just for us.
Life, moves at a fast pace,
And you must catch up.
Once she give you life,
Life, will care less.
One day out of the year is all we need,
And we will feel as though that day,
has lasted a lifetime.
And then the mourning after,
you will wake up,
And say,
Hello

A few spelling errors - "give" (should it be gives?) and "mourning" (did you mean morning?). Interesting poem. The ending was perfect. |

I remember when hi or hello made me feel alive. I could definitely relate to this poem of yours. One can become so wrapped up in a single person that one day seems enough.
Yet another poem of yours that I have taken a liking to.
Keep writing!
