Would you take me by my hand if I should let you?
would you draw me to your chest for just...‘a pause’?
Would you let my cheek press softly on your shoulder
and let my racing heart pound next to yours?
For a minute...just one minute,I could soar free,
with surging currents sweeping me to bliss...
and forever,
that one minute would endure me
to live in retrospect of naught ...but this.

| i think these thoughts are understood by many of us as ones that don't have a partner yet often wonder the same thing short poem but to the point loved it |
