We met, we talked, we fell in love
Hey isn't that what infatuation does ?
It all happened in the blink of an eye
but wait, take 3 steps back, hit rewind.
Love takes time, trust and hearts apsiration
Going out on occasions, face to face conversations.

But...sadly, we didn't do that first
Instead we were to caught up and in lust.
It lead to confusions and questioning
which also lead to the end of things.

And it's because....

I gave you my love,
and you betrayed it
so i take it back.
It's over, all is said and done,
now it's time to face the facts....

I applaud the understanding, the facing of facts, in this. You've learned the nature of the mistake made by so many millions, the one that many take so many years to learn.

I like the way your language flows, as well. You don't rely on clockwork end-rhyme, but infuse your lines with musical word-contrivances. Bravo!
