Melancholy
is my mood
I sit around
And stare.
And brood.
Wondering why
the world goes round
While
I sit here
with a frown
Maybe
the rain
has set
this tone
And I'll feel better
when it's gone
But until then
I'll sit a while
Patiently
waiting
for
my smile

Carol, this was such a good write. I liked the thought of the whole poem.
It made me think about my day (which you would not want to hear LOL).
