This anger in me, is the bird that's not free
And the rest is all butter and cheese
I try to show smiles, that are stretched upon miles
but roadkill's a lonely disease
Tick Tock Take Time
I'll never see Hell, but to her i will tell
The weight of every tear falling
The summer may see, clouds chasing me
Then Friday may finally come calling
Tick Tock Take Time
I'm bored with my dust, love is distrust
My Monday is made up of mourning
And if you must, strangle my trust
Be it so that it feels boring
Tick Tock Take Time
Fuel of Me

This is a good write your poems just have a deep meaning in them. This is the second of your poems I’ve read and they take a few reads to capture the full meaning in them. Lost love is a painful subject and it is what most of my work has been about. Take care and know I enjoyed this piece…Steve |
