Reflection

I see my reflection in the crystal eye
Like water in a pond, gazing back at me
And at a touch, a ripple, it's gone
Or is it I who dissappears
From the world that lies beyond the mirror
Behind the echo, never seen
Through the gate I can not pass
Lies a world of which I only dream
Or is it just my reflection in the glass?

Yes, I was right. You are a poet with deep insight. But it is you that you have to look deeply within, my dear. The looking glass is only a vanity reflection.
