I can rhyme!

Contributed by Feldawn on Wednesday, 27th April 2005 @ 01:20:25 AM in AEST
Topic: poets

I once would struggle to make a rhyme
But now my efforts are starting to climb

I found this neat gizmo that makes it so nice
It’s fast and it’s easy and very precise

And now I can write of most anything
For birthdays, family, Jesus, or spring

This thing that I have is an interesting book
With many a rhyme right there for a look

I must do my work this will keep me awake
If I am too sleepy I’m going to shake

Goodnight to my poem I’ll see you again
Lord keep me safe through the night, Amen

Oh My what a beautiful poem and prayer!
Isn't that little gizmo you speak about great!
Before I discovered it, I'd write and berate.
Now I take all the credit for my rhyme
No one knows most of the time! *smiles*
I loved your little poem..........to the point, and ending with a prayer is great!!
