I reach out for you
and your not there
i know youve found someone new
and i dont care

I sit here and try to think
how i can tell you how i feel
but getting you to like me
is just another deal

I try to do a few things
just to let you know
but the love you have for me
i know youll never show

when you dont notice me
my heart tends to sink
and when you never tell me hi
i dont even have to think

because i know your heart belongs to her
but i wish you were mine
and i know we'll just be friends
for all and all time

Good write. It is always hard to live with out that special person that we want in our lives.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
