The summer pavement can,
Fry your feet to the ground,
So take off your shoes,
And pace around,
The winter current can,
Freeze your tongue to your nose,
God help you if your tongue,
Is not fixed in a pose,
If you are not watching,
That wave could turn tidal,
Don’t flinch, Keep the fish company, stay idle,
If the wave stops mid-air tell me,
If the wave stops mid-air tell me,
You would be the first to respond,
Too many think they know;
Lie down on the beach,
And let the tide rock you as it will,
Creatures biting at your callous feet won’t even hurt,
Too many think they know;
Strip down bare,
Plunge into an icy lake,
I swear you won’t even be cold,
If you are not watching,
That dust cloud might turn to a funnel,
Don’t flinch, stay the course, enjoy the wind tunnel,
If the wave stops mid-air tell me,
