can i save, what's owed to the grave
all my hair and thin bones
can i pray, without words to say
my soul does live among stones
can i keep, my eyes before sleep
the shadows do tremble with violence
can i be warm, before the cold morn'
or am i to shiver in silence
can i be free, of the addictions in me
and stay from the pills and pollution
can i despair, what's never there
and keep the gun's final solution
i can't be the sun
i won't know the fun
i don't care for stars
i can't hide the scars
But, there's always tomorrow to play...
