Drinking And Driving

Contributed by Dkanis on Tuesday, 26th April 2005 @ 10:16:36 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I Never Really Knew
How Much Drinking Could Really Do
Of Course I Knew The Affect
And About The Lifes It Has Wrecked
But Until You See It First Hand
At That Point You Take A Stand
You See The Worry On Peoples Faces
And You Know That Their Heart Races
You Put Others At Risk
There Lives You Could Whisk
If You Try To Drive In That State
You Are Playing With Fate
Not Only Yours, But Many Others
But Peoples Sister's And Brother's
So Many Will Be Hurt
This Is Blunt And Curt
But It's All True
And I Did Not Misconstrue
Any Of The Facts
So Make Your Self's Packs
Don't Drink And Drive
Don't Disallow People The Ability To Live

Douglas K.

This poem flowed well and every word is truth....this should be put in the papers to let offenders read it..on..the night before they intend to drink and- not- plan on how they are to get home drunk
