Grass stains on my knees
A thousand unheard pleas
My necessities beginning to rot
All these thoughts
I'm thinking are not
What I'm feeling
These grass stains on my knees...
Could I just bleed?
Make it so eay
But these things aren't the same
These grass stains on my knees
And your thinly veiled sympathy
