Never Gonna Get Used To Seeing

Twas only a day before
That I had gotten Jeff
That I saw her
Laughing and chanting
"I'm dating Eric! I'm dating Eric!"
Sharp pain stabbed me in the heart
Tears reaching my eyes
I felt like she slapped me in the face
But I stood strong
And acted unaffected
We never dated
You didn't like me anyway
I knew we would date others
I knew you would date someone other than me
But seeing her
Hanging all over you
And You smiling and laughing at her
Like I always wanted you to do for me
I couldn't stop it
The dam holding my tears back snapped
I cried silently for a whole two class periods
My so-called friends made it worse
And then she waltzed in
And strapped herself to your arm
I realized then and there
I'll never be used to seeing her and you toghether

Seeing someone that you have feelings for with someone else is never easy.
Heck even hearing they are with someone else is horrible.
I know the feeling well.
This is a nicely written poem that is short
and straight to the point and gets your feelings across very well.
