Today I saw my lady cry,
Her tears fell like rain,
This was the first and only time,
That she would every cry.
Today I saw my lady cry,
As she held her torch high,
But today there was no smile on her face,
For the land she watched over every day,
Was being destroyed.
Today I saw my lady cry,
Her tears were from joy not sadness,
She cried because what happened that day,
Didn’t tear us apart,
It brought us all together.
