What is it about me that makes you miss me
What have I done for you lately
We’ve had close to relatively little contact
Yet you say you think about and miss me
We just barely learned last names
You live on the other side of town
The connection we have is but a weak link
Yet you say you think about and miss me
You don’t say “hi” to me when you see me
You seem nervous in your speech
But what is it about me that makes you miss me
I’ve done nothing for you lately
The feelings you present are unreturned
Sad to say but you have to hear the truth
You ask me how I feel about what you say
And all I can respond with is a question mark

What is it about me that makes you miss me
I’ve done nothing for you but pull away
