The second I met you,
My world seemed to fall.
All I could see was me and you,
Nothing else at all.

You made all the pain go away,
You made my worries disappear.
You seemed to offer security,
As you held me near.

All the hurt had faded,
As I looked into your eyes.
You said you loved me more then life,
Said you'd never make me cry.

To me you were an angel,
But you were just a devil in disguise.
You told me you'd never hurt me,
But now I know it was a lie.

You slept in secret arms,
And you fed me unfaithful lies.
It seemed my world crashed burned,
As my head filled up with whys.

You left me for that lover,
But she didnt love you at all.
So now you want me back,
Its me you seem to call.

Well for a while I bought your lies,
You stole away my heart.
Once again you left me broken,
As I seemed to fall apart.

All I wanted was you,
That forever kinda love.
I thought you were my saving angel,
But you weren't from above.

Dirty words,
And sinful deeds.
I succombed to your ways,
I gave you my all to satisfy your greed.

This pain cuts like knives,
Like the lines I placed on my arm.
But cutting cant compare,
To your abuse and harm.

You said you'd never make me cry,
Said you wouldnt cause me pain.
Well now all I do is cry,
Forever shall it rain.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
