Missing You

Contributed by DesolantDreamer on Sunday, 24th April 2005 @ 09:20:54 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Many times a day do I think of you
You plauge my dreams every single night
You hold my sore heart together like glue
Some people don't think our love is right

But how can they condem a love so sweet
When they haven't a clue of what they speak
My soul soars to the heavens when we meet
In my knees you will always make me weak

We care not of what the future may hold
While we are apart I'm truely lonely
The thought of you keeps me warm when it's cold
My dearest you are my one and only

Know that my love for you is unending
In this poem, my heart I am sending

WOW! Love does make a difference! This is your best yet. The one great lesson for poets is to write about that which you know. At this moment it’s the feeling you have for a special someone, and the words flow. Stay on track. Write more of those things you feel, fear, or love the most. You can’t go wrong as a writer if you follow that star. Cheers!

John

You should be very proud of this poem. It's something that most people can relate to and is incredibly well written. Congrats.

Eternally Punished,
Faust
