Once Again

Contributed by Kevin on Sunday, 24th April 2005 @ 07:29:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Once again it seems I am all alone,
By myself, no one around, can’t find my home.
Once again, I ask, “Why can’t I be,
For once in my life just happy?”
Once again I think of ending my life,
Ending it all, my tireless strife.
Once again I put the knife to my throat,
Or the noose around my neck, crying as I choke.
Once again, I put the gun to my head,
A pull of a trigger and BANG…I’m dead.
Once again I’m through with doing what is right,
I give it all up, I quit this fight.
Once again I cry, cry all my tears,
Alone in my room, harassed by my fears.
Once again I sit, waiting to die,
My body goes limp, my soul begins to fly.
For once I feel as if I don’t need to hide,
All of my problems…solved by a simple suicide.

Your writing was good. The subject is unfortunatly one that is way too common and so hard on those left behind. A good write....I hope things are well for you. Keep sharing....and thanks for sharing with us.
