Why Daddy?

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Sunday, 24th April 2005 @ 01:35:14 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Rip my heart out, claim it yours,
Poison me with your lies,
Sip my tears, relish the bitterness,
Neglect the sorrow and anguish within my screams…

Unwanted child, wasted flesh,
Tainted daughter… Father’s hands,
All over,
Her body…

Why daddy?

Seductive “I love you’s…”
Whispered deep into the night…
Why do you teach me these horrid lessons?
Father, why must you be this way?

“It’s for your own good…
You need to be prepared…
I’m teaching you things you must learn…”
Stop lying to me!
Why can’t you admit it?
Tell me the truth!
You enjoy desecrating me, ravaging me,
Masochist, you love my pain..

Why Daddy?

Bleed me till I’m dry,
Slap me once more,
So I can feel the sting,
And know
That I’m still
Living…

Destroy my confidence,
Tear my world apart…
Rape my mind with your psychological games,
Feed me your endless deceptions,
Tell me how much you love me,
As your hands wander freely…

Silent agony,
These are fake tears that I’m weeping,
Pay no heed…
I am of no importance to you,
Just throw me away like all the others have…

Daddy Dearest,
Are you satisfied with what you see?
Father of Gold,
Do you like what you have created?
This monster you see in front of you,
Is no longer your daughter,
But a toy… a ballerina to forever dance and entertain…

You don’t live with us anymore, Daddy,
I don’t have to see your face everyday…
Yet, still I feel you presence,
Hovering over me…
I still feel
Your greedy hands…

Why Daddy?

This is so hauntingly sad, but beautifully written. Unanswered questions seem to give you so much to write about. Absolutely beautiful.

That's the first poem in a long, long time that made me cry.
Really deep, really dark.

Another that incites rage within me that has nowhere to go. Steph, I wish I knew how to free those memories and questions from your mind ... I think he has givin up his title ... he is not a Daddy ... let alone a father. He should be made to suffer the horrors he has visited upon you and one day ... I am sure he will.

Nazzy ~
