What is Life

Contributed by sride686 on Sunday, 24th April 2005 @ 12:11:53 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Life is dark and life gets old
For over are life we have no control
We are just pieces moving around
Waiting for the day to inter the ground
For life is death and death is sweat
For death is the end of all life’s grief
Why are we here if only to die
What does God want from are pathetic lives
Cut your wrist and feel the pain
Watch all the life flow from your vein
For this is life in all its fame
A game of hate and lust and shame
You cut yourself to feel alive
And feel the pain flow from your eyes
Now you know there is know change
Your still stuck in this ***** up game
Were all you have is hate and pain
For all your love has gone insane

That's a great poem. I feel like that almost every day, when I'm home alone and I feel pain. I've cut myself, but I still wouldn't consider suicide. Life for me lately has been full of pain and deceit though. I hate it, yet I try and find ways to deal. I hope you can find other ways to deal with the pain than cutting. Jenny

Immensely dark, but alot of hidden truths behind the lines. I know where u r coming from Steve. Have faith my dear friend for God is with the patient ones. I've endured alot in my life and when u read my work you'll know all the pain and torment that I went through( my earlier pieces ) I still believed. You should too my friend.
It's good you're getting those negative thoughts outta of ur head and onto paper. It helps to vent out all the negativity in our lives.
Keep up with the amazing work.
Remember that u have people who really care for u and I'm one of them. Take care and my prayers are with u Steve.
Hugs,
~sue~

That was really good. It's amazing to see all those strong feelings and vivid imagery contained in such a strong rhyming structure. i'm glad i read it, and keep up the good work.
