Meant To Be

It's been a year since you've gone,
From me you walked away.
I remember all the tears I cried,
I remember everything about that day.
It hurt so much inside,
I thought I'd never heal.
I hoped it was all a dream,
That none of it was real.
But I had to accept,
The fact that you were gone.
All throughout my sadness,
I knew it was wrong.
You and I are meant to be,
I know you're my soulmate.
God put you in my path on purpose,
I know you're my destined fate.
A year had gone by,
And now I had moved on.
I know you've really left,
And I'm ok that you're gone.
My life is going good,
My life is finally on track.
What the hell is this,
Now you want me back?
Why would you leave me,
If you'd come crawling back to me?
I told you we were forever,
And that we were meant to be.

that happens to me all the time! ppl will continue wanting what they can't have it is inevitable and i guess the best of us have to try to not give into what's not good for us...even if it was forever. you take care of yourself. |
