I know I've messed up,
and I'm deeply sorry for it.
I tried my hardest,
and I failed as usual.
You trusted me with your feelings,
your life and all in it.
I let you down,
and I let you go.
I said I'd be there for you,
always and forever.
I got caught in my own life,
and left you there to drown.
You just kept getting sadder,
and I didn't see your pain.
Then you left and
all I could think was
I should have listened to you.

wow this was a powerful difficult piece to read and i bet it was to write too. i thought you did a really good job with this piece and that you can feel proud at the way youve expressed yourself here! exceelent work.

perhaps if your friend was cutting it best that you didnt listen to her (loss of blood makes us do crazy things sometimes).
