Tears From Love

Contributed by sride686 on Saturday, 23rd April 2005 @ 10:43:44 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Dark and deep are the depths of my soul
They run straight down to nothing but cold
My heart is hard and my stare is cold
My mind is lost and out of control
I’m lost in pain as I sit it in the cold
But this hate inside me will make me whole
My thoughts run deep down to nothing but rage
From this love I once had and this love I once gave
I gave it so blindly with nothing to hide
Lost in here love and lost in my pride
Lost in her eyes as she took my soul
Lost in my mind as I gave her control
Her heart was cold as she watched me cry
She ripped out my heart and walked out of my life
Now I’m left in darkness with nothing but grief
As my tears of pain run down to my feet

this was ok, but the over use of the word cold made the poem read a bit funny. Keep posting, I look forward to reading more

So full of emotions that are forcefully felt. i especially dig the last two lines as the "tears run down to the feet." Very nice and keep it up.

Aww Steve this is a deep, sad and heart breaking write. I feel ur pain and anguish for I can relate to it so much. This poem is deeply expressed and shows how much ur heart is sharded and in pain. My thoughts and prayers are with u my dear friend.
I commend u on being able to put pen to paper after feeling such a loss.
A hundred of heartfelt hugs 'n' prayers for you,
~sue~

I feel your pain and I know how hard it is. The feelings you express in this poem are, unfortunatly, very familiar to me and I understand completly. Since I can relate very well, feel free to send me a message any time that you need to talk. I will listen because I know how important it is to talk about this sort of thing. Well it helps me at least and maybe it will make you feel better too. Anyways great poem and very well stated. : )
