~Little Sally~

Contributed by nos_bunny on Saturday, 23rd April 2005 @ 09:52:29 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Its cold again, I know your here,
The night goes dark, Your almost near,

Your crying again, But won't tell me why,
Your eyes look sad, Cold and dry,

I fear your presence, Its dark and haunting,
I let you in, Your lonely and wanting,

Your not as clear as the light of day,
But I can almost see, From this bed I lay,

Tears run down my face, Knowing i'm alive,
Your whispers threaten, As I long to strive,

Hurt me with want, Hurt me with need,
Everything I seek, Is just saught for greed,

Your crying again, I express my thoughts,
Your image grows clear, A smile of dots.

Am I good or bad, Am I needed or lost,
Is there a limit for this life I crossed?

Your crying again, Fading with fear
Is my life ending slowly, As your pain is near,

Warning me of danger, Leaving me to see,
That I must leave my past for my future to be.

This is neat. The rhyme is well done, and the poem tells of meatting the ghost interestingly. It's a pretty, dark, and lovely write, overall.
